Are you asking anyone to do readings during your ceremony?

Joey, on February 13, 2018 at 08:05 Posted in Wedding ceremony 0 5

If you're including some readings in your ceremony, you've got to consider who will be giving those readings. How do you make that decision?! Did you choose the number of readings you wanted and then ask that many people, or did you have a number of people who you wanted to include in the ceremony and based your number of readings on that? Are your readers mostly friends, or mostly family?

Readings CAN be religious, but they can always be a poem or passage in a book. Usually just a little snippet that is about love.

We are asking my FSIL to do a reading to have her be involved.

We won't be having any readings because we want it as short as possible!

Is it like for the religious weddings? Reading parts from the Bible?

We didn't have any readings as we were trying to keep our ceremony as short and concise as possible.
