Anyone has success selling their deposits to services? If so where to post?

Hey all, sorry if this is not the right place; not sure where else I can ask. I’m from the Edmonton area and like a lot of people decided to cancel reception due to international travel being a huge part of our guest list and the restrictions to enter the country and also for them to return home is still not ideal. I am trying to sell a DJ deposit for a $100 discount - tried to post in Edmonton wedding buy and sell but that group is moving so fast with listings that it just doesn’t get seen. The owner said it doesn’t even have to be fixed at the date we have it. I guess in hindsight it’s not a huge amount of money but at the end of the day it’s just nice to get something back. Thanks in advance! Any guidance appreciate for those who have successfully sold deposits similar.
