Anyone else making their wedding invitations?

I did mine on Canva! There are so many templates on there already and then got them printed with www.vintageprints.co.uk who were great, they adjusted everything to fit my pocketfolds and printed them on gorgeous card. It was nice to have full control of the design but to then get them printed professionally, ready for me to assemble myself! Loved the whole process, wish I could do it all again lol.

I created my Save the Dates and invitations on SimplyToImpress - they had great deals and I made exactly what I wanted and envisioned.

It seems by the posters here that it's more common than not. I designed my invitation, map card, info card, and RSVP along with envelope design in GIMP and printed them with Vistaprint.

I would recommend signing up for Vistaprints e-mail notifications, because they have one 24 hour sale that they do every few months that is $150 off of an order of $250 or more. If you have the design ready to drop in and order, you will save a bundle or get way more bang for your buck!

I made my invites! I designed them on Illustrator and paid $5 for some watercolor imagery from Etsy. I’m getting them printed back home on Vellum which is so much cheaper. Works out to about $1 !

I created mine on Canva. I had pretty much full control on what they look like without it being too stressful

I've made mine as well and absolutely love designing them! I found Vistaprint the cheapest with best quality and there are so many templates to give you ideas to help design you own. I also used Minted and Pinterest to help my creative side flow.

I'm making mine as well! I had a friend write mine and FH's names in calligraphy, and then I put together the invites and RSVP cards in Photoshop.

I ordered paper samples from Minted and Visaprint, so I could see the different paper finishes and envelopes etc, and will then print with one of those companies They both also offer envelopes, and I found a company on Etsy that will send me custom wax seals!!

Sort of. I'm buying a pocket fold suite from Cards and Pockets, but I'm designing all the text and imagery on the inserts and invitation. This is a mock-up I did. Still a lot I want to change, but you get the general idea.

My FH and I are going the extra mile on this one. We decided rather than doing a cookie cutter online print off or something of that nature we are going to make and hand write all our invitations and thank you cards. We are using construction paper from Dollarama, some hot glue, paint and lots of folding to make really unique and intimate invitations in our colors for everyone. Time consuming and tedious but we'll worth the effort in the long run as it saves so much money to make and write them yourself.

We have a friend who has offered to design ours and I'm excited to see what she comes up with.


We're trying to decide if we want one of our engagement photos on them or if we want to stick with a simpler graphic.
Once she designs them we will get them printed locally. I'm dabbling in calligraphy for the envelopes!

We are and our scrolls for the party favours will update hen I finish scooping ideas.

Yeah they are! we ordered our save the dates too we got magnets for soo cheap. apparently black friday they do 60% off so were waiting for then to order our invitations!

I'm a graphic designer, so yeah I'm designing and printing my own and my boss is a friend so he's letting me print them free of charge. Score!

I did!!! Used Adobe Illustrator to design and had them printed at a local print shop!
