Anyone else have to redo their wedding photos?

We got married July 2025, sadly we weren't happy with our photographer choice, they did not seem into it the day of our wedding, there was little to no coaching ex.stand up straight, turning heads or postioning for best angles ect. and it did not meet out expectations, it took 5 months to recieve our full wedding photos and to say we were disappointed in them is an understatement especially after waiting so long. We are unsure what editing was even provided. We are now considering getting our photos redone. Has anyone else had to redo their photos? How was your experience? Would you reccomend redoing them?

Really sad to read that...
Years ago, at a friends' wedding, some heavy professional photographer convinced them to shoot on film like they used to, instead of with a digital camera. Unfortunately, his camera had broken without him knowing, and the photos were ruined.
I saved the situation somewhat with my amateur photos, but, of course, there were missing moments and perspectives.
When their closest friends and relatives found out, they collected a certain amount of money and secretly organized a second wedding for them - well, it was more modest, but much, much more emotional. And this time - with many, many good photos.
