Anyone been or going to aruba???

Awesome! Ive been to St Martin and stayed at the Sonesta which is absolutely beautiful. The only negative this was the water always had a red flag. It was very rough and sucked you in. scary!

Hawaii i heard is over-rated and not many, or none at all, all inclusives. i want to go there one day too tho!

We go to Maui every year and I love it but for honeymoon were leaning more to Oahu to try out something new. I don't think they have anything much for all inclusives in Hawaii but the water is amazing! We can walk straight out of the resort in to the ocean with amazing snorkelling just off the beach. It always depends on what you are looking for though.

Ok...Her exact words to me were "Honestly it was nice but not worth what we paid. Hotel needs an update." But she said she loved Aruba and would go back!! Something to consider in your research. Please remember that's her opinion! Do what's best for you!!!!!

Ya i have read some reviews that said the same. I have watched lots of youtube videos, and i can definitely see what shes saying. but out of all the all inclusive resorts on the island, that one stands out to me the most. it is super expensive, i am also looking into the "newly renovated" villas. its not part of the tower so hoping that changes things. we shall see! Thank you so much for the input. If you talk to her again, can you ask about the food at the riu? Thanks so much!

I liked the iguana joes. There's another restaurant the petit cafe that had great steak wrapped in bacon that came on a hot rock. Really great atmosphere and waitor was great.
And we are thinking of Ireland but not right after the wedding. We want to save money for it. Im waiting till we get married to get a new passport so i dont have to pay twice for one in less than 2 years.

We drove passed and walked passed that hotel quite a bit on our stays and it looks to be a really nice hotel. It is a really nice island i really enjoyed it there every time we went. I recommend checking out the beach restaurant in Aruba for one of your nights dinner. It is a beautiful view of the sunset and will be a romantic dinner. You could be inside the open restaurant or out on the beach. Adults only resorts are hard to come by! Most just have adults only areas within the resort (which are always packed!). Though honestly on my last 2 resort vacations, I didn't notice many kids/wasn't bothered by them. SO I guess it might depend on the time of year.
