Hey guys! I want to have a Tragically Hip song as the father-daughter dance, but I can’t pick a song! My thoughts are either Ahead by a Century or Its a Good Life if you don’t Weaken. What do you guys think if you’ve heard these songs before (are they appropriate, etc?) or do you have any other Hip suggestions? TIA

What a lovely idea. I like non-traditional songs for the father-daughter dance and I'm currently mulling it over too! Thinking of Wildflowers by Tom Petty personally.

I love Ahead by a Century and think it might suit best! Love so many Hip songs.... but Wheat Kings, Nautical Disaster I can't really see them working.

Other slow ones I can think of are:

Bobcageyon -may be too "romantic" for father-daughter though

    Long time running

Scared -may not be the subject matter you would like

I don't know the album In Violet Light too well, you may find more in there. Good luck!
