Any long distance relationship out there?

I am just curious if any long distance relationships managed to survive to an engagement, aka. happily ever after. I would love to hear anyone else's story.

We managed to last just over 5 years while he was away in Europe studying. He finally popped the question after he graduated

Oil wife here.... he's home every 2 weeks for a week and it is tough, especially when I have to travel for work that one week he is home, but we regularly chat about mundane day to day stuff and I get a wake up call every morning so I hear his voice first (although he;s awfully perky and needs to work on that lol).
Just remember a childhood best friends quote: "How lucky i am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard"-- Winnie the Pooh.

Wow! That's amazing. Our relationship wasn't too long distance... 1.5 hours away, but with both working, it got hard to see each other as much as we'd like. Hence, were married now lol. Congrats to you ❤️

My FH and I did 4.5 years long distance while I went to university... Got engaged in november and finished my degree finally this spring and moved hone for good! Finally no more long distance for us
