Any brides out there?

Ashley, on December 12, 2016 at 16:52 Posted in Before the wedding 0 9

Hello fellow brides!

My wedding is less than a year and a half away and I'm at a total freakout moment now. I have no idea what kind of flowers I want for decor, or my bouquets. I'm choosing to do fake flowers tho, as I want to keep them for memories.

We're getting married at the beggining of June in 2018, so it will be warm. My colors are pastel purples and blues. If anyone has some tips please let me know...

Great ideas! I like the idea of using them to decorate a frame! I got a collage frame to put our wedding pics in so maybe I can add some to that!

I want to do the shadow box with mine when I'm done. You could probably make some cool wall art with them too. Or like get a frame and take out the glass, add a wedding photo and put a few flowers with it. I'm probably going to give some to like my mom and family if they want them (or just include them in my parents gifts lol), I'm going to have a bunch too so I need to think of ideas for what to do with them after as well

We kept most of them so I'm still trying to figure out what to do! I have my bouquet displayed in a vase in our apartment. (They'll never die! I just have to make sure to keep it out of the sun so they don't fade.) I'm thinking of maybe doing a shadow box with some of the flowers along with other wedding mementos. I'm trying to find projects to keep me busy now that I'm done with wedding planning! I plan on scrapbooking as well but since the flowers are 3D they wouldn't work well for that.

I love your flowers Sam! I don't think I've seen the table flowers and boutineers before! They looked amazing! What are you playing on doing with them now that the wedding's over?

Like the other brides said, don't worry! You're in great shape! We did paper flowers for our wedding and they turned out beautifully and were WAY less expensive than real flowers! The vendor was called More Paper Than Shoes and I found her through Etsy. She was really great to work with and her flowers were incredible! We got so many compliments on them at our wedding. Here are some pics of the flowers from our wedding:
