I have been looking for an alternative ring pillow for my wedding which will be on the beach and I fell in love with this clamshell idea so I tried doing it myself. I bought the shell at Michaels and I have extra ribbons and faux crystals from the dollar store and I looove the end result!

That's a good idea but I think we'll be putting fake rings on these while the ring bearer holds it. The best man will have the real ones 🙊

Clever lady! Will it be any problem to open the knot to get out the ring when your hands are shaking? What about gluing some Velcro to the ribbons and slip them through the rings to secure them? Might be easier to get loose.
