Alternative guest book

I really like it!!!! Not sure what we are doing yet.

Im thinking of a fake tree hung with crystals and getting all the guests to write a wish for us as a couple to tie to the tree. A wishing tree of sorts.

She makes some amazinf stuff ... definatly check her out !

That is a great idea! Or vice versa if you can't read the handwriting then you can look at the pic and know who it was!

I like this idea too! Just a word of advice - my brother did this at his wedding and a lot of people didn't get around to taking their pictures until after dinner and by then it was dark (it was an outdoor venue/tent) and most of their pictures did not turn out because the lighting was too dim. If you have an indoor venue with some well lit areas, then should be no problem!

We didnt make it .. we had it made by a lady on Facebook ... she makes lots of items like this and beautiful clocks too which I might have made after the wedding for one of our anniversarys .. you can look her page up .. Creative Silhouette Designs by Sheryl she does amazing work we are thrilled with it

Fh and I had this made and everyone will sign on it and it has hooks and will be hung up in our house later ! I didn't want a book laying around collecting dust

HAHA, I think we've all done that.

Ya FH is the only one that talks to his mom and her side of the family so it is hard to get together with them, so I've never met most of them. But FFIL (how is paying for a solid portion of the wedding) has MANY long time friends/neighbors he wanted to invite, I've met most of them, but only once or so. I just avoid using names, like FH's one aunt... I met her once and couldn't pick her out of a crowd and don't remember her name, so I refer to her as "Vegan Aunt" (for the obvious reason... that she is vegan LOL)

ROFL, so I totally look like one of those crazy ppl at work laughing to myself.. I know how you feel tho, FH has a huge family, I still don't even know who is who with his family. He has like 11 uncles and aunts just on his dads side and then theres all their kids etc. I just smile and nod half the time haha

It mainly came to be because I SUCK at names and since 80% of the guest list are FH's side that I've never met/only met once, I knew I would forever be like.. Jennifer... what one was Jennifer again? So I wanted something that captured how everyone looked that night!!

I love alternatives! We`re doing a polaroid one, guests take a photo, write a note, swap it with their escort card.

Then we`re going to take the photos and make a collage

We are not having the traditional guest book my step dad is making us a large wooden letter for our last name and out guests will sign that.
