Alberta/bc affordable mountain wedding venues you can byob

Hello,

Looking for suggestions for affordable wedding venue locations in or close to the rocky mountains. We have about 200 people on the guest list and finding a venue for this number of guests that you have the option of BYOB is proving to be very difficult. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

    Hey Jennalee, my best suggestion would be look into rental spaces (halls, community centres, etc, type places)... they are more likely to be a BYOB/taking out your own liquor license, type venue. Anywhere that has a bar, or their own license, is most likely never going to let you BYOB, as they can make so much money off selling it to you.

    You could also look into places that do a host bar by the bottle? My venue only did it per drink, but if you can do it by the bottle, it also saves quite a bit of money.

    They only 'BYOB' venues I've been to, I actually worked at (mobile bartending service), and it's all banquet halls or community halls.
