Ages of Bride and Groom?

I was technically 22 when we got engaged (it was the day before my 23rd birthday), and he was 23.

We will be 23 and 24 when we get married!

I am 42 and my Poppa Bear is 41. I wasn't ready for marriage before and had thought I would never marry because I was quite happy doing my own thing. Then I met him and he really changed my view of marriage and I realized, I would be happy sharing my life with him. There's no set time for getting married, do what works best for you both and let go of the pressures that other people's expectations place on us. Weddings are a celebration, focus on your love, God's blessings, and sharing special moments that make wonderful memories.

I was 30 when we got engaged and he was 28. I will be 32 when we get married and he will be 30.

This is my second marriage. I was married at 23 the first time around and really wish that I had waited until I was older. Would have saved me many years of the troubles I went through.

Fun! My Fiance is 21 and I am 22 and weve been engaged for 2 months now. We will be 23 and 24 when we get married!

I was 28 when we got engaged and 29 at our wedding, and my husband was 29 when he proposed and 30 at our wedding!

I am 20 and he is 23.. When we get married i will be 22 and he will be 25

Engaged right before our birthdays
24 and 27
Wedding we will be 26 and 29

So, I think I would be the oldest. If anyone else beat me, I would love to know.

It will be the first marriage for both of us.

Engaged at: me 46, him 50

Marriage at: me 49, him 52 (few days before he turns 53)

We are both very glad we met at these age, decided to tie the knot and to grow old together.

Groom is 30, bride is 27.

When we get married groom will be 32 and bride will be 29! (His birthday is a month before the wedding)

We got engaged when I was 27 and he was 26. We’ll both be 28 when we get married.

We got engaged when I was 35 and him 29. When we get married I will be 36 and he will be 30 (turning 31 not long after). I have the early bday. Hes got a late one

I was 27 and he was 23 when we got engaged. He turns 24 a few months before the wedding and I turn 28 the month after!

We were 25 (me) and 27 (him) when we got engaged. We've been together since 20 & 22. When we get married we will be 26 & 28.

I feel like I'm right in the middle of the pack. People my age have started getting married or engaged, a few have kids, but several are still single and/or not married.

We are also thinking it will be another 4 to 5 years before kids (early 30s).

I was 27 when we got married last year. He was 38!

We are breaking the social norms a little with this one: I will be 33 at the time of our wedding and my fiance (thankfully, finally, etc) will be turning 30 a few weeks before the wedding. 😂

I'll turn 30 one month before our wedding and FH will be 37.

ETA: I was 28 when I got engaged (and turned 29 a week and a half later) FH was 36.

As the daughter of a Canadian military vet, you're in for a wild ride. It's both good and bad, but if you communicate and support one another, you will have a wonderful life full of adventure and unique experiences.

People outside the military don't, and can't, understand. It is a life of sacrifice, but it also has so many rewards if you are willing to be open to them.

We got engaged at 35 (me) and 36 (him). When we get married, I will be 37, he will be 38. This is the first marriage for both of us, which is somewhat unusual at our age.

I certainly felt 'old' compared to most of the brides out there when I was dress shopping, at the bridal faires, etc. People just assumed it was my nieces' wedding we were there for (she's 22), or that I was on my 2nd marriage which was somewhat annoying.

I walked out of two dress salons when they asked why I didn't consider a second hand dress for my second wedding!

We were 29 and 30 when we got engaged and 29 and 31 when we got married.

Engagement: I am 33 and he is 37

Wedding: I will be 34 and he will be 38

So we're in the later marriage crowd...

I feel SO alone & at times, i feel unsupported at home- mainly because no one understands what i go through and not everyone is supportive of me being engaged to someone in the Army.

We got engaged when I was 23, and he was 24. We will be getting married at 25 and 26!

We got engaged at 26 (me) and 30, so we'll be getting married at 28 and 32.

I will be 25 when we get married and my FH will be 30. I don't think there is anything wrong with getting married young or waiting until you are a little older. Do what works for you
