Affordable (but still amazing) venues east or north of gta

Searching for an affordable venue outside the GTA (east or north of gta). Most our guest live in the Durham Region area, so hoping to keep it relatively close to there.
Looking for an affordable venue to host about 50-60 people. Sometime clean, fresh interior, pretty. But we are on a tight budget right now...saving to buy a house. Hoping to have an indoor outdoor option for the event. Catering not necessary, as we are supplying our own food.

    Not sure if you have found a venue, but just in case, here are a few worth checking out -

    - The Lake House in Pickering
    - Centennial Building in Whitby
    - Heydenshore Pavilion in Whitby
    - Whitby Yacht Club

    Theres a hotel in markham that does weddings its at highway 7, theres golf clubs in newmarket that are so nice!

    Here are some venues in Haliburton you can browse. I'm afraid the WeddingWire venue doesn't have any in Kawarthas, however, you can play around with the location to find some in the other areas you're interested in - Wedding Venues Haliburton.
    Will you and your FS be doing the food yourselves, or will you have a caterer taking care of it?

    Have you considered going north like the Kawarthas or Haliburton? You can find venues there with the cottage feel without the Muskoka prices if you're looking for a more natural/rustic vibe.
