A little diy?

Eartha, on November 18, 2016 at 16:19 Posted in DIY 0 18

So I need a little help, I bought quite a bit of these paper and I was going to hole punch through each roll so I could get these tiny little cute hearts and scatter them across the guests tables. However, after doing about 1 sheet or so; I realize it might not be the best idea as that hole puncher is quite difficult to use and it cramps my hand to punch them.

Does anyone have any idea what I should do these paper so they don't go to waste?

I'm not the most creative person, so any suggestions are welcome.

If you want to save the paper as use it as a base, there are heart stamps and vintage or regular inks available at michaels. Stanp many times using the colours of your wedding.

This is what I was going to suggest! The techniques are not very difficult, they just take a little bit of time. There are so many designs and tutorials online for flowers in different styles.

Yes, these will definitely hurt your hand after a while... You should check out for something like these:

    Heart Confetti Puncher

This one would be ideal to do many at once!

Have you looked in stores to see if they had anything like that?

This is basically the idea of what I was trying to achieve. The paper itself is quite thin already but it's just quite difficult to punch so many without killing your hand LOL

Hi Eartha, I love heart confettis!! This is going to be so cute to have on your tables! Smiley love You can even make them in different colours! I get what you mean though... It can be quite long to do. Is your paper really thick?

Maybe you could try a thinner paper and do something like this with different tones Smiley smile

How do you like the idea? Smiley smile

Those are great ideas but if you want to try and give the hearts another chance why don't you see if anyone you know has a Cricket. Have you heard of this machine? It looks like a printer and it laser cuts shapes for you. Do you have any friends who are big into card making. They should have one. I've tracked down a friend with one and offered to exchange wine for use of their machine. It worked!! Godd luck with whatever you decide.
