5 sons

Dina, on September 28, 2019 at 18:22 Posted in Wedding ceremony 0 4
Hi all, I need some advice/suggestions my fiancée and I are a blended family we have 5 sons he has 4 boys that will be 10 and under and I have 1 that will be 10. We are trying to figure out how to incorporate them in the ceremony. Our first thought is they all be groomsmen but we are looking for any suggestions on any other way to have them involved. We didn’t want the wedding party to be that big.

Going in the order from the youngest to the eldest sons.

The thought of the youngest comes to mind as the Ring Security Bearer with cool shades as he will rock his suit walking down.

The next 2 sons walk with you behind though as you stand with your husband and your father or parents sit with the boys.

The 10 year old boys be ushers to seat guests and they all wear a boutinniere to represent the wedding party.

This is how i could see family uniting together and when the time comes as the family completes the ceremony, paint brushes and small canvas to put a line through as each of you choose one colour you love.

I like the idea of having the older ones be ushers, younger ones being ring bearers, but overall you could just not have them included for those things and then pull them up for a unity ceremony? You could do the sand ceremony, or a paint ceremony, or do something along those lines Smiley smile

If you were planning on having readings/poems during the ceremony they could do it. Or if you are having a church ceremony they could be gift bearers. Depending on the age of the younger boys they could carry those signs that say “here comes the bride.” You could also have your son walk you down the aisle.

Could you have the older ones be ushers for some of the guests. And then the younger ones can be ring bearers.
