400 days until our wedding!

I thought tomorrow was our 400 day but according to WW, it's today!

There was a lot that got done this week: We booked our DJ and our honeymoon cruise!! We'll be sailing in the Caribbean a week after the wedding, spending a few days in Miami first.

When I first started planning, my goal was to have: venue, photographer, officiant and DJ by the 1 year to go mark and I was able to accomplish that with some time to spare! I also have my dress and hair professional booked.

My next steps are to get our engagement pictures done on October 13 this year. Once we get the photos back, we'll create Save the Dates and get them mailed by the new year! We are meeting with my officiant and DJ in November, when we are in London next lol. The next vendors to search for are florists and eventually cake bakers! (excited for cake tastings lol).

How is everyone else's planning going? What are your next steps?

    I didn't do much planning in the summer 75% of the time I was busy with work but I'd have a week or two where I went into planning hard core.

    Wow we are just under 400 days away and all we have booked is venue and food. I feel so far behind. Darn summer getting in my way..lol I am giving myself this month to get back into the swing of school craziness and than back to searching and booking.

    Sounds very nice! I think simple/elegant can be a theme Smiley winking Our theme kind of happened with the colour palette (peacock with teal and purple).

    No true theme. really wanting elegant/clean/simple. if that makes sense. our goal is to throw a GREAT party. haha

    décor wise I want white, silver, candlelight/mini light.

    dress wise for the girls. i'm looking at the colours clover and meadow from david's bridal. and then guys in grey (either darker grey or lighter grey depending on which bridesmaid dress color we pick).

    Our venue does food and booze too so we didn't have to look for that either! I find the time is flying by, sometimes it feels like yesterday we just got engaged and started the planning stages.

    We have our venue, our photographer and we’re in the midst of booking the DJ. Our venue does the food and the booze so we don’t need to worry about that. We are now 435 days out and it feels like it’s going fast!

    we have ceremony venue, reception venue, photographer, officiant, dj (and they are a day of coordinator). I have my dress (purchased and already came in). wedding party picked. block of rooms at hotel. makeup artist booked. and then friend is a graphic designer and will be designing my invitations for free. yaahhh!

    in the works. decorator. just need to give her the deposit, sign paperwork. florist (nothing picked, but i'm also not searching around as I know the florist). FMIL booked rehearsal dinner site. hairdresser (picked one..just need to book)

    still undecided - bridesmaid dress color. and that will determine guys suit color (they will be grey, just not sure on lighter or darker).

    Nice! Glad things are coming along for you! I couldn't imagine having classes and planning a wedding at the same time, sounds like life has been keeping you guys fairly busy.

    Weeeeeell my wedding day twin - my planning isn't as far along as yours but I've been super busy starting my night classes again, adopting a kitten and puppy, and we are only a couple months into the new house and still have renovations going on...

    We have: venue, officiant, food, social hall, and photographer all set up. Next thing on our list will be the DJ for both the social as well as the wedding, and of course dress shopping and guest lists!

    We ended up deciding to go with winter engagement photo's after all so those won't be until at least November (as we want to have the pictures done at the winter light show).
