My wedding is 12 days away on October 1st and while there’s still so much to do it finally feels like it’s coming together!


I took a day trip down to the USA on the weekend and picked up faux wood charger plates for the wedding. I couldn’t find them anywhere in Canada, but thankfully Hobby Lobby ordered them in for me and I was able to go pick them up.
I’m packing all of the decor bins by table (candy, receiving, cake, etc.) to make it easier for the DOC to setup. I mocked up the candy bar last night and I think it’s going to be so pretty all put together!

    So glad to hear you found someone to alter your dress in time!


    I’m making my way through my list thankfully. Just had my cricut make all of the names for my seating chart sign so tomorrow I’ll actually get it all put together. That’s the last thing I have to do. Otherwise I want to finish sewing a rehearsal and reception dress, but if I don’t get around to that it’s ok. I’m off work all next week so hoping I have time to squeeze everything in.

    I’m 9 days out and it seemed like things just keep adding to the list lol My fiancé needs to get a tie still , his groomsmen are still missing at least one item from their suit( they need to go pick up what they ordered), luckily we had to leave a week ago to come 14 hours to the venue so I have my decor and paperwork all packed up already! But when we left my dress didn’t fit me , I had lost a bit more weight! Luckily my fiancés mom found me an amazing seamstress and my dress is perfect and she finished yesterday! Now I just have 5 appointments to goto for hair makeup, tan and eyelashes, nails! My fiancé is on alcohol duty and picking up the food for rehearsal dinner and morning of wedding!

    Packing decor by table is soo helpful! I did that for my wedding and it made set up a breeze! All the groomsmen set up the decor (they did a pretty good job) then the tables just needed to be tweeked to my preference!
